Why We Do It Differently
You don't need more matches. You need the right connection.
Many dating platforms make it easy to collect matches faster than anyone could realistically get to know them. OneConnectionAI takes a different approach.
Interest must be mutual before a private conversation begins, and the number of active connections is deliberately limited. The goal isn't to keep you messaging forever. The goal is to help you discover someone you want to keep talking to.

Every member participates under the same basic connection principles.

Interest Must Be Mutual
A connection begins only when both members independently express interest in one another.
Neither person owes the other a conversation simply because one person expressed interest.

Messaging Opens After a Match
Once mutual interest is established and a connection space is available, private messaging can begin.
OneConnectionAI does not use coins, message credits, or per-message charges.

Active Connections Are Limited
Members may maintain only the number of active connections allowed by their connection mode.
This encourages thoughtful communication rather than collecting conversations.

Closing Is Okay
Not every promising introduction will become a relationship. Either person may respectfully close a connection.
Closing a connection frees that connection space so the member can explore another mutual interest.

Respect a Closed Connection
When another member closes or blocks a connection, that decision must be respected.
Creating another account or attempting to contact the person through OneConnectionAI after being blocked is prohibited.

Don't Hold Connections Forever
Active connections should represent conversations members genuinely intend to explore.
OneConnectionAI may provide inactivity reminders and eventually close connections where both members have stopped communicating for an extended period.

Safety Comes Before a Connection
Members may block or report suspicious, threatening, deceptive, harassing, or financially motivated behavior.
A connection is never more important than your safety.

Mutual Means Mutual
One click does not create an obligation.
Selecting Interested simply tells the system that you would be open to connecting with that person.
It does not give you permission to message them, and it does not require them to respond.
If that person independently expresses interest in you, OneConnectionAI recognizes the mutual interest and can open a connection when the appropriate connection space is available.
Example:
Michael selects Sarah as Interested. Sarah has not selected Michael, so no conversation opens. Later, Sarah discovers Michael's profile and independently selects Interested. The interest is now mutual, and OneConnectionAI can open their connection.
Attention Matters
Connection limits are a feature, not a restriction.
OneConnectionAI is designed to give promising connections room to develop.

Focused Mode
Maintain one active connection at a time and give that conversation your full attention before deciding whether to continue or explore another connection.

Open Mode
Maintain up to three active connections while still keeping the number small enough to encourage genuine conversation and intentional choices.
When It Isn't the Right Connection
Closing a connection isn't failure.
Compatibility on paper doesn't guarantee chemistry. Sometimes two good people simply aren't right for one another.
When you know you don't want to continue, closing the connection allows both people to move forward.
OneConnectionAI may offer an optional private reason for closing. That feedback is intended to help improve future matchmaking and is not displayed to the other member.
Once the connection closes, the occupied connection space becomes available again.
Close Connection

Messaging between you and this member will end, and one connection space will become available.
Connection Safety
Your boundaries remain yours.
Mutual interest does not remove anyone's right to change their mind, close a conversation, or report concerning behavior.
Block
Block a member when you no longer want that person to contact or interact with you through OneConnectionAI.
Report
Report suspected fake profiles, scams, financial solicitation, harassment, threats, or other concerning behavior.
Never Send Money
Never send money, cryptocurrency, gift cards, banking information, passwords, or verification codes to someone you meet through the service.
